Roster on Offer - 8 days on, 6 days off roster (FIFO & DIDO options)

Responsibilities

As part of the maintenance crew, the Auto Electrician will be maintaining a new fleet of electric Agi trucks, Cablebolters and Normet Shotcrete rigs.  

The Auto Electrician duties will consist of but not limited to – 

Installing, maintaining and repairing electrical wiring and electronic components on underground mining equipment, mobile plant and light vehiclesFault finding, repairing or replacing electrical components/wiring as requiredMaintaining plant and equipment, ensuring compliance with regulationsIdentifying and managing potential risks.Install, maintain and repair electrical wiring and electronic components on underground mining equipment, mobile plant and light vehicles;Fault finding repairing or replacing electrical components/wiring as required;Maintain plant and equipment, ensuring compliance with regulations.Qualifications
An Auto Electrical trade qualification.Experience in auto electrical maintenance on heavy mobile equipment in an underground mining environment.Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills.Current First Aid certificate or ability to get prior to commencement.Valid manual drivers licence;A positive work ethic and attitude in keeping with Redpath's motto, Consider it done — safely.
