Your new company A government organisation in Neerabup are seeking an experienced Traffic Management Officer to join the team. This role is being offered on an initial 6-month temporary contract, with a possible 6-month extension on offer. You will be required to work full-time hours and will be paid at an hourly rate Your new role As the Traffic Management Officer, you will be responsible for:
  • Providing technical traffic management advice to stakeholders to ensure maximum road safety
  • Provide support and advice to minimise congestion on the road network
  • Identify and implement an effective traffic management scheme
  • Conduct traffic volume analysis to establish suitable hours to conduct works on roads
What you'll need to succeed
  • Possession of a current Advanced Worksite Traffic Management (AWTM) accreditation.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and/or on your own.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A diploma in Engineering (highly regarded)
  • Strong digital literacy skills with experience using AutoCAD (highly regarded)
