Dental Assistant

We have a permanent role available for a dental assistant for either a part timer or a full timer with work hours between 7:45am to 5:45pm Monday - Friday. We only have one position available and are looking for the right person rather than experience, therefore flexible with selecting either a qualified dental assistant or a trainee.

Our team are long term staff members with little turnover. Our newest member has been with us for 1.5 years and the majority of our team between 7 and 14 years.

Our treatment philosophy is one that informs patients of their options and allows them to decide what is best for them. We don't push or sell treatment and do not set financial targets for our providers.

The Role

We are excited to welcome a professional Dental Assistant.

Key responsibilities:

• Nursing for oral health therapists/dentists and sterilisation whilst maintaining high infection control standards. The role may involve more responsibilities or be able to grow into other areas of the practice dependent on the candidate.
• Delivering 5 star customer service
• Build positive and lasting relationships with patients
• Ability to help reception if required would be highly regarded but not essential

• Full Australian Working Rights.
• Australian citizen or permanent resident
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Proficient computer literacy
• Reliable, focused and dedicated. Can think ahead and take initiative.
• Eagerness to receive feedback to develop towards excellence
• Able to commit long term and for this reason can not accept applications from students pursuing a different career path
