Are you an organised, proactive individual with a passion for supporting others and delivering exceptional service? We are seeking an Administration Assistant to join our Workers Compensation team. This is an excellent opportunity to build your career in a meaningful area, supporting claims operations and contributing to positive outcomes for injured workers.
About The Role
You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth administration of workers compensation claims. This position involves providing timely administrative support, maintaining accurate records, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and assisting the team to meet compliance and service delivery standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Workers Compensation team, including data entry, document management and file maintenance
- Prepare and format correspondence, reports, and case documentation
- Respond to internal and external enquiries professionally and in a timely manner
- Ensure all information is stored and updated accurately in accordance with compliance requirements
- Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and assessments
- Support the onboarding of new claims and follow up on required documentation
- Contribute positively to team objectives and service level agreements
About You
- Previous administration experience, ideally within insurance, workers compensation, legal, or health services
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Professional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively within a team and manage competing priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new systems
