About the role
- Lead educators or Educators role available
- Permanent Part/full time Diploma or Early Childhood Teaching Degree. Minimum 12 months experience.
- Be knowledgeable in the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework, transferring your theoretical learning to practical application by observing, implementing and evaluating the curriculum and programs.
- Ability to support children's learning and development that incorporates the principals, practices and outcomes of the Early Years Learning Framework
- Advocate for children as competent learners and plan for their learning through purposeful interactions and teaching.
- Be a mentor and support to your colleagues so that consistent care and education is offered across the service.
- Must demonstrate initiative to support the service as a whole.
- Must have strong time management skills
- Must be passionate and vested in your work and workplace
Qualifications and Experience
- Completed Diploma or recognised Early Childhood Teaching Degree
- Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates including Anaphylaxis and Asthma
- Completed Child Protection Course or willing to obtain
- Dedicated and committed
- Good communication skills
- Team player
- Flexible with shift times including the ability to work open and close shifts as directed by your manager
- Respectful and caring practice with children
- Understanding of the EYLF and NQS
