About the Role

We are seeking an educator for a permanent afternoon shift (1pm–6pm, Monday to Friday). This role includes supporting our Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) program — assisting with school drop-offs and pick-ups for two local primary schools.

In addition to working with our school-aged children, you will also assist as a floater across other rooms, helping support our educators and children aged 0–5 as needed.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality care and education across all age groups (0–12 years)
  • Support the OSHC program during drop-off/pick-up times and afternoon activities
  • Assist in other rooms as a floater to support daily routines and programming
  • Use the centre iPad for documentation (mealtimes, nappies, headcounts, observations, etc.)
  • Work positively with children who may have learning disabilities or behavioural challenges
  • Collaborate with a passionate team to ensure compliance with NQF and centre policies

What We're Looking For

  • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (essential)
  • Diploma qualification (highly preferred) or willingness to enrol
  • Full driver's licence C (required)
  • Comfortable using technology for documentation
  • Flexible, team-oriented, and confident working across various age groups
  • Strong communication skills and a nurturing, inclusive approach
