About the role

We're looking for a self motivated 2 Year PQE Lawyer to work in criminal law. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity where you'll play a key role in providing legal services to our diverse client base. Flexible permeant hours depending on your lifestyle. Work from home arrangements available. You'll have the opportunity to take on a range of criminal legal cases and develop your expertise .

A base salary of $75,000 per year + a profit share arrangement.

Would suit an ambitious lawyer early in their career who are looking to progress their expertise in criminal law.

Full technical legal support provided.

What you'll be doing

  • Representing client's in criminal law matters
  • Conducting legal research, preparing briefs, and drafting submissions and other legal documents
  • Liaising and advising clients on their legal rights
  • Negotiating with prosecutors and other legal parties to achieve the best outcomes for clients
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in the legal system
  • Overseeing Trust Accounts

What we're looking for

  • 2+ years' post-qualification experience as a Lawyer
  • Excellent research, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated
  • Must have own car and driver's licence to attend court
  • Commitment to providing high-quality legal services to clients

Must Have / Be Willing To

  • Obtain a principal practising certificate / complete practice management course.
