Job Description

You will…
  • Design and develop new processes to support new product development, enhance plant operations, reduce costs, and improve product quality
  • Analyse and optimise existing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality
  • Troubleshoot process-related issues and implement corrective actions
  • Analyse production data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and make informed decisions for process improvements.
  • Conducting factory trials to improve process efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including trial reports and standard operating procedures
  • Provide training and support to production staff to enhance skills and ensure efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—operations, product development, procurement and quality—to ensure effective implementation of process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies

You have…
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in the food manufacturing industry, preferably in a process engineering capacity
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP principles, food safety standards, and regulatory compliance

  • An excellent communicator and collaborator, with the ability to work seamlessly across teams and functions.
  • Detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy and precision in all aspects of your work and ensuring processes meet specifications.
  • Proficient in recording and interpreting data, using insights to make informed recommendations.
  • Adaptable and thrive in fast-paced environments, effectively managing and prioritising multiple projects.
