Looking to engage the services of experienced Motel Manager/s able to drive the day-to-day operations of a beautifully presented regional motel composed of 30 rooms. This role is ideally suited to couples with strong business acumen seeking an enjoyable and challenging work environment. Whilst previous motel management experience would be a strong advantage, we would be willing to train the right person able to demonstrate a passion to succeed in the hospitality industry. The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Manage all areas of guest and customer relations, including inquiries, guest experience, checking-in/out, group bookings, etc;

  • Provide first-line management of property reservations through Phone, Web, Email, Walk-in, and online channels;

  • Clean and prepare guest rooms to a high standard

  • Stay engaged across all property facilities to maintain high standards of property and room functionality/cleanliness through a formal quality assurance process;

  • Overseeing the sustainment and maintenance of property upgrades;

  • Ensure the Motel Property is run in accordance with company policies;

  • Organise all events across the property and allocate resources accordingly;

  • Ensure stock levels are maintained to sustain all business-as-usual activities;

  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements; and

  • Escalate issues to Owners as necessary.

In addition, you will need to maintain high levels of energy and present with a customer focused demeanour in sometimes challenging situations. You will need to take pride in your service delivery and the standard of quality provided by the property. You will be able to build and maintain enduring relationships with your staff, guests, and customers. You will be required to work autonomously, with full support from a dynamic company committed to the successful growth of our business model. The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary package, including onsite accommodation in a 2-bedroom apartment with utilities included.
