Accommodation Receptionist

• Part time opportunity Monday – Friday, Day shifts 11am-4pm, no weekends or Public Holidays

Due to the constant expansion of our Defence division, Downer has an opportunity for an to join the team located in Townsville, QLD at RAAF base in Garbutt . The Purpose of the position is to provide effective management to ensure the smooth and efficient day to day running of the daily administration and accommodation/ room booking service functions. What You'll Do (key responsibilities)

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

• Support the Cleaning and Housekeeping Supervisor to maintain Reservation Booking System and ensure room information is up to date and information is provided to cleaning and housekeeping staff to ensure all required rooms are ready in accordance with Defence timeframes
• Ensure all callers and visitors to the office both on the phone and in person are treated in a professional and friendly manner
• Log maintenance and service requests as required and issues followed up as required with appropriate personnel
• Respond to members requests for assistance
  Ensure administration procedures are accurate and meet site and corporate reporting schedules

What You'll Bring (experience required)

• Suitability for Defence Security Clearance ( Australian citizenship mandatory )
• Current Driver's licence
• Experienced in Business Administration is highly desired
• Proficiency in Microsoft office
• Excellent Customer Service in person/ over the phone
• Experience with Hotel/ Motel Reservation Management System
  Have high attention to detail attitude
