The Role

Our Chelsea Heights site is located in Melbourne's south-east, manufacturing a range of more than 44 milk, milk-based beverages and cream products. The site currently produces around 100 million litres of product every year

The role is responsible for operating the automated equipment that separates, homogenises, and pasteurises milk. The role also requires responsibility over

all the autonomous maintenance of the equipment, the quality checks, swabbing, samples, flavour additives and checks for flavour specifications. The candidate is required to be available Monday to Friday 5AM to 1PM.

Responsibilities

• Operate all processing lines and equipment safely and efficiently; minimise downtime through effective work practices

• Accurate completion and recording of all quality, testing and production related documentation

• Promptly report safety incidents, issues, and maintenance requirements.

• Adhering to company safety and quality policies and procedures, basic housekeeping to maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area to required standards.

• Collaborate with team members and support other functions when required

About you

• Experience in food or dairy manufacturing is highly desirable.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Problem solving skill and ability to work independently

• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn
