About the role

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting of transactional data and activity relating to endota spas. They will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of a range of accounting duties in accordance with statutory legislation, accounting standards, internal controls and the endota policies and procedures. This is a 12-month fixed term contract.

  • Preparation and analysis of first-cut month end financial results.
  • Monthly Balance sheet reconciliations for the companies' spas and to ensure all ledger balances are maintained to the highest standards, and any anomalies are resolved.
  • Completion of month end journals including accruals, pre-payment and amortisation schedules for company owned spas.
  • Reconciliation of inventory in all locations
  • Monthly preparation and reconciliation of AASB16
  • Assessing asset impairment for spas and the Group
  • Marketing Levying and Gift Card reconciliation
  • Assisting the Financial Controller with yearend auditing and any requests from external auditors.
  • Measuring cost effectiveness and the best ways to reduce and manage costs.
  • Managing expenses inline with the budget and company policies.

You will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • CA/CPA Qualified is essential
  • Substantial experience working in a similar role within a face paced environment and with a range of tasks and responsibilities
  • High attention to detail and the ability to accurately enter data
  • Proficient excel skills
  • Previous experience with NetSuite- preferred but not essential.
  • High level of numeracy and reconciliation skills, with the ability to review and interpret numerical information in line with audit, ATO and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to changing tasks and work demands.
