Contracts Lead

Monadelphous is seeking a Contracts Lead based at our Victoria Park Head Office, where you'll play a key role in leading the management of the entire lifecycle of contracts, overseeing strategy, compliance, performance, documentation, and communication between sub-contractors, clients, and suppliers to deliver projects on time and within budget. This role will be at the heart of decision-making - setting priorities, driving projects forward, and ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.

Key Responsibilities:
* Leading a team hands-on across the full contract lifecycle - procurement, cost forecasting, subcontractor management, claims and variations, all the way through to completion and closeout
* Manage construction project workflows and contracts, including EOT, SI, RFIs, TQs, Change Orders, and POs, with precision and efficiency.
* Responsible for coordinating the assessment and compilation of tenders and proposals for engineering and construction contracts.
* Provide deep expertise in post-award contract management, ensuring seamless execution and project success
* Provide a level of guidance and advice, to relevant stakeholders internal and external
What you'll bring:
* Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, Law or similar field
* At least 10 years of relevant Contracts experience within Construction Commercial
* Thorough understanding of construction contract law, including relevant Acts, regulations and industry standards
* An ability to engage and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, subcontractors and suppliers
* Excellent time management and prioritization skills for a diverse and challenging workload
* Proof of Rights to work in Australia
