Role Description

This is a contract role for a Mechanical Fitter. The role is on-site and located in Sydney, NSW. The Mechanical Fitter will be responsible for assembling and fitting mechanical components, performing routine maintenance, diagnosing mechanical issues, and executing repairs. The role also includes ensuring compliance with safety standards, reading and interpreting technical drawings, and collaborating with the engineering team to enhance system performance.

Qualifications

  • Experience in assembling and fitting mechanical components, and performing routine maintenance
  • Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Strong understanding of safety standards and compliance
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Relevant trade qualification or certification as a Mechanical Fitter
  • Experience in the energy or construction industry is a plus
