About the role
The Mahony Group of Pharmacies' is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Tamworth, NSW. This full-time role will provide you with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the dynamic field of pharmacy, whether you're a trainee or an experienced professional. As part of our customer-focused team, you'll play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our pharmacy and ensuring the highest levels of patient care.
What you'll be doing
- Providing exceptional customer service and assistance to patients, including answering inquiries, processing sales, and managing inventory
- Assisting pharmacists with the preparation and distribution of medications, following all relevant policies and procedures
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to pharmacy operations
- Supporting the overall efficiency and organisation of the pharmacy by carrying out various administrative tasks
- Continually developing your knowledge and skills to enhance your contribution to the team
What we're looking for
- A genuine passion for healthcare and a commitment to providing excellent patient care
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the pharmacy team
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of your work
- For experienced candidates, at least 1-2 years of previous experience in a pharmacy assistant or similar role
- A willingness to learn and develop your skills, whether you're a trainee or an experienced professional
