About the role

The Mahony Group of Pharmacies' is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Tamworth, NSW. This full-time role will provide you with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the dynamic field of pharmacy, whether you're a trainee or an experienced professional. As part of our customer-focused team, you'll play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our pharmacy and ensuring the highest levels of patient care.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing exceptional customer service and assistance to patients, including answering inquiries, processing sales, and managing inventory
  • Assisting pharmacists with the preparation and distribution of medications, following all relevant policies and procedures
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to pharmacy operations
  • Supporting the overall efficiency and organisation of the pharmacy by carrying out various administrative tasks
  • Continually developing your knowledge and skills to enhance your contribution to the team

What we're looking for

  • A genuine passion for healthcare and a commitment to providing excellent patient care
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the pharmacy team
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of your work
  • For experienced candidates, at least 1-2 years of previous experience in a pharmacy assistant or similar role
  • A willingness to learn and develop your skills, whether you're a trainee or an experienced professional
