MAINTENANCE/HANDY-PERSON - SOUTHERN OCEAN LODGE - KANGAROO ISLAND

Globally celebrated and the winner of multiple, prestigious awards since first opening in 2008, Southern Ocean Lodge reopened in December 2023 on Kangaroo Island after it was destroyed in the 2020 bushfires.

Perched atop the clifftops overlooking the Southern Ocean, the lodge combines contemporary design, world-class dining, and an immersive connection with nature.  Join us in celebrating the resilient spirit of Kangaroo Island, its diverse wildlife and its vibrant community.

We now have an opportunity for a Maintenance / Handy-person to join our Southern Ocean Lodge team.

You'll be at the heart of our operation, ensuring that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.  From responding to maintenance requests to completing preventative maintenance tasks, you'll contribute to creating memorable experiences for our guests.

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Current SA driver's license and first aid certificate (or ability to obtain/transfer)
  • Experience in the use of machinery, tools, pumps, generators highly desired
