We are seeking experienced Welders, Metal Fabricators, Boilermakers and Mechanical Fitter to join our growing team at Mick Murray Welding (N.T.) in Townsville, Queensland. This is a full-time opportunity to contribute to the production and fabrication of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform skilled welding, metal fabrication, and boilermaking tasks to industry standards
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to produce custom metal components and assemblies
  • Operate and maintain a variety of welding, cutting, and fabrication equipment
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure efficient workflow and on-time delivery
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organised work environment
  • Continuously improve processes and techniques to enhance productivity and quality

What We're Looking For

  • Formal trade qualification or equivalent experience as a Welder, Metal Fabricator, or Boilermaker
  • Extensive hands-on experience in welding, fabrication, and metal working, preferably in a production or industrial setting
  • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and other welding techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
  • Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and a demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety
