About James Lane

James Lane is a leading Australian home and lifestyle brand, dedicated to delivering premium furniture and homewares that blend contemporary design with exceptional value.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced and dynamic Influencer & Social Media Manager to take ownership of our influencer strategy and social media presence. This is a hands-on role focused on building brand advocacy, growing engaged communities, and driving awareness through strategic influencer partnerships and best-in-class social media management.

The role is fully remote, offering flexibility to work from home while collaborating closely with our national marketing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute influencer marketing strategies to amplify brand awareness and support key campaigns and product launches.
  • Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with influencers, brand ambassadors, and strategic partners to ensure strong brand alignment and measurable impact.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook), ensuring a consistent and compelling brand presence.
  • Manage influencer outreach programs, gifting initiatives, and collaborations to deliver strong ROI and engagement.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on influencer campaign performance and social media metrics, using insights to optimise future activity.
  • Stay across emerging trends, platform updates, and evolving influencer marketing tactics to keep the brand at the forefront of the industry.
  • Engage with our online community through timely, authentic interactions that reflect the James Lane brand voice.
  • Partner closely with the broader marketing team to ensure influencer and social activity aligns with campaign objectives and business priorities.

Who You Are

  • Experienced in influencer marketing, social media management, or digital strategy within a retail, lifestyle, or agency environment.
  • Confident managing campaigns end-to-end — from strategy and outreach through to reporting and optimisation.
  • Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and Facebook, and how to leverage each platform to drive growth and engagement.
  • Skilled at relationship building and negotiation, with a strong network or knowledge of influencer landscapes.
  • Analytical and data-driven, with experience using social media analytics and influencer platforms.
  • Highly organised, adaptable, and comfortable working at pace in a collaborative environment.
  • Passionate about interiors, homewares, and lifestyle branding.

Why Join James Lane

  • Fully remote role — enjoy the flexibility of working from home while being part of a fast-paced national marketing team.
  • Lead the influencer and social media strategy for a growing Australian lifestyle brand.
  • Competitive salary and benefits, with room to grow as the business expands.
  • Generous employee discounts across our furniture and homewares ranges.
  • Collaborative, supportive culture that values creativity and initiative.
