We are looking for Clinical Trial Coordinators to help expand our team, which consists of doctors, nurses, cognitive raters and Clinical Trial Coordinators. The role offers flexible working arrangements, salary packaging and the potential for career development.
The Role
The Clinical Trial Coordinator will ensure that the clinical trials are conducted in compliance with clinical and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will have experience as a Nurse or Clinical Trial Coordinator, have excellent communication skills with study participants, have excellent organisational and time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise effectively. You will be required to demonstrate strong communication skills and be able to work effectively in a values-driven team-based environment.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate clinical trials by ensuring that they are conducted in compliance with all regulatory, state, national, and internationally accepted guidelines for Good Clinical Practice in research (ICH GCP)
- Implement and oversee the collection, verification and recording of all trial-related data in accordance with the trial protocol and relevant research and organisational guidelines.
- Be responsible for managing the quality and maintenance of research data into electronic data management systems and databases, and paper trial master files.
- Maintain positive, effective and ongoing communication with the study participants and the research team.
- Work collaboratively with the research team by contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of recruitment and retention-related activities and processes.
- Coordinating monitoring visits with CRO
- Trial administration duties and maintenance of office supplies and stock
Essential Requirements
- Experience of working in a Clinical Trial environment
- Tertiary qualification in a health-related field
- Minimum 2 years post-graduate experience
- Proven project and time management abilities in a research context with demonstrable experience
- Knowledge and understanding of the principles of Good Clinical Practice
- Well-developed computer skills, including Excel and Word
Highly Desirable Criteria
- Demonstrated experience in pharmaceutical-sponsored clinical trials.
- Demonstrated experience in establishing and managing Human Research Ethics Committee approval applications and clinical governance requirements
- Phlebotomy skills and processing of blood samples
- Demonstrated organisational and administrative skills with a strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills, with an ability to prioritise a challenging workload and work to deadlines
