The Role:

We are seeking expressions of interest for experienced Maritime Security Officers to join our team, ensuring the safety of the public, terminal users, and assets across multiple Port Authority locations. You'll be a key part of a high-performing team, delivering security operations in line with Maritime Security Plans (MSPs) and regulatory frameworks.

You must have experience providing maritime security services to be considered for the role.

Key Responsibilities:

· Access control, visitor management, and CCTV monitoring

· Baggage and passenger screening

· Patrols, traffic control, and vehicle marshalling

· Emergency response, crowd management, and incident reporting

· Compliance with Maritime Security Plans (MSPs) and Port Authority directives

· Participate in scheduled training, drills, and exercises

Essential Qualifications:

· NSW Security Licence Class 1AC (Class 2A preferred)

· Current and valid Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)

· Certificate IV in Security and Risk Management

· Comprehensive First Aid certification (HLTAID011 or equivalent)

· Construction Induction (White Card)

· Full Australian working rights

· Driver's licence

Highly Regarded:

· Diploma of Security and Risk Management

· Traffic control / vehicle marshalling

· Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) Certification

· Maritime Security Guarding (MSG) or TSP II training

· Incident Command System (ICS) or Critical Incident Management training

· Strong understanding of maritime and port security legislation and operational frameworks
