As our Digital Activation Director, you'll be the driving force behind ensuring our clients achieve the best possible ROI on their digital media investments. You'll lead our Programmatic and AdOps function, ensuring seamless workflow, impeccable quality control, and innovative campaign implementation. Here's What You'll Do:

  • Lead and Inspire: Motivate, coach and develop a high-performing team of Digital Activation Managers, Executives, and Coordinators, fostering their professional growth and ensuring outstanding output.
  • Drive Client Success: Develop and execute best-in-class digital media strategies that exceed client KPIs, building strong, trusted relationships with senior clients and understanding their business objectives inside out.
  • Champion Innovation: Stay ahead of the curve in the ever-evolving digital landscape, bringing fresh ideas, testing new betas, working with Google and Facebook on first-in-market initiatives, and developing cutting-edge playbooks and tools.
  • Collaborate and Connect: Work closely with our leadership team, PMX, planning disciplines, and external partners (like Facebook & Google) to deliver integrated, impactful solutions.
  • Manage and Optimise: Take full financial responsibility for client budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting, invoicing and spend allocation. Identify opportunities to leverage Publicis Groupe's broader capabilities (DEX, Tech, Analytics) to drive deeper insights and fuel greater strategic planning.
  • Contribute and Share: Share your knowledge, innovations and insights with the wider agency and contribute to thought leadership pieces.

A Day in the Life:

  • Inspiring your team to develop creative, impactful digital media strategies.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop integrated campaign plans.
  • Presenting innovative ideas and solutions to senior clients.
  • Mentoring and coaching team members on their career growth paths.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Managing campaign budgets and ensuring accurate invoicing.

What You'll Bring:

  • University degree or higher education qualifications (preferred).
  • Proven experience in Programmatic trading and AdOps with a strong understanding of the Australian media landscape.
  • Expertise in DV360, CM360, TTD, Meta Ads Manager, Tiktok
  • Experience presenting and contributing to new business pitches
  • A passion for digital media and a desire to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a collaborative and motivating style.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Inspiring and collaborative leadership style, mentoring, coaching, training and motivating your team
  • Confident and engaging interpersonal, presentation and communication skills, able to guide and influence key stakeholders.
