Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Child Restraint Engineer. The role is located in Altona North, VIC, but some work from home is acceptable. The Child Restraint Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing child restraint systems. Daily tasks include creating engineering specifications, conducting safety tests, analyzing data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product safety and compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience in designing and developing child restraint systems
  • Technical skills in safety testing and data analysis
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in the juvenile products industry is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and in a hybrid environment
