We're searching for passionate Early Childhood Specialists with a proven track record of guiding and empowering early childhood professionals from frontline educators through to Centre Directors, Area Managers, Committee Members.

Child Australia is a renowned early childhood education and care organisation that operates in Western Australia and the Northern Territory. We work collaboratively with children, their families, parents, early childhood professionals and the local community to enhance and expand the quality of education and care provided during the crucial early years of a child's life.
You will play an integral part of our team providing specialist support to both internal and external stakeholders facilitating professional development, offering formalised mentoring and guiding organisations to successfully navigate the establishment or operation of services of all types.
With our commitment to capacity building in the early to middle childhood sector, we offer professional development through consultations, face to face training, online training, webcasts and an extensive array of professional resources.
Our work is spread throughout the metro area of Perth but also regularly takes us to rural areas and interstate. Flexibility to travel, work after normal service hours and on a Saturday (not consistently) is a non-negotiable for this role as no two days will ever be the same. You must have a valid driver's license for Western Australia.

Key role responsibilities include:
- Develop proposals within a project management approach
- Proactively develop and support a pipeline of engaged and potential clients
- Mentoring and support to a range of stakeholders including Service Leaders, Approved Providers, Committees
- Collaborate with Approved Providers and Service Leaders to develop and implement a comprehensive service-wide training plan, including individual educator mentoring plans
- Provide training and guidance on effective and sustainable Early Childhood Governance for standalone and not-for-profit (NFP) services
- Supporting corporate organisations seeking expertise in navigating the landscape of the ECEC sector
- Active participation in the planning and delivery of scheduled events, conferences, forums, workshops, blogs, social media engagement, and sector articles
- Maintain currency in knowledge and actively participate in development of new branded products and contextualisation of training learning resources, content, resources, tools and relevant implementation strategy
- Ensure detailed knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards, and approved learning frameworks.
To thrive in this position, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes as a Sector Specialist:
- Approved Early Childhood qualification (as defined by ACECQA)
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Extensive leadership, coaching and mentoring experience
- Evidence of a deep understanding of the ECEC sector landscape
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional networks and demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset
- Proficiency in facilitating skills transfer to adults through various mediums, including face to face and online delivery
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to establish effective interpersonal connections
- Strong IT literacy, with proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook. Use of SharePoint and Microsoft Teams would be advantageous
- Demonstrated capability to build rapport and establish productive relationships with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders.

Role conditions:
- Ability to travel regularly both inter and intra state
- Working hours are flexible alongside client requirements, including evenings and weekends
