In this role, you will support families with children facing disabilities, developmental delays, or other developmental concerns.
Your responsibilities will include conducting functional assessments, planning and delivering early support for children aged 0-6 years, and connecting families with NDIS services.
Please note that this position is primarily administrative, with a strong emphasis on report writing and coordination of services.

About You
You are a dedicated and empathetic professional with a strong foundation in early childhood development, developmental delay, or disability. You hold a degree in Allied Health (Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology or Physiotherapy), Early Childhood Education, or another relevant field, and bring extensive knowledge of the NDIS, the Early Childhood Australia (ECA) approach, and best‐practice principles in early childhood intervention.
Family‐centred practice is at your heart. You're committed to delivering evidence‐based intervention, demonstrating an ability to conduct functional assessments, develop and implement tailored support plans for children aged 0–6 years, and evaluate outcomes with care and precision. You thrive when working in partnership with families, adapting your communication to suit varied needs and working inclusively across diverse cultural and social backgrounds.
You are highly organised, resilient under pressure, and able to manage priorities while meeting deadlines. Your information management is excellent — you comfortably use technology to record, retrieve, report, and administer documentation. You are trustworthy, ethical, non‐judgmental, and always focused on inclusion and social participation for the children and families you serve.
If you hold additional credentials such as current AHPRA registration, certified membership (eg Speech Pathology Australia, AASW), or teaching registration in WA that's a plus. Also, your experience working with diverse communities (including Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander or CALD communities) will help you connect and adapt in meaningful ways.
As an Early Childhood Practitioner you will:
• Provide Early Childhood Intervention best practice specialist support services to children who have a developmental delay or disability, including initial supports
• Work with children and their families to determine needs and appropriate specialised early intervention support
• Undertake early childhood assessments and prepare reports
• Develop individual plans in partnership with families
• Initiate collaborative professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders including children's service providers, community and specialist services
• Identify and provide information and referrals to families that reflect their needs and links them into appropriate universal and specialist services to meet their child's developmental needs
• Deliver high quality ECA services in accordance with the program guidelines, Early Childhood Intervention best practice principles and relevant legislative obligations
