Restaurant Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:
Organising, overseeing and controlling the operation of our restaurant
Managing your team, including selecting, training, performance reviews, rostering waiting and kitchen staff
Leading your team to provide a great service experience
Ensuring food is prepared, presented, and served to the highest standard
Ordering stock from various suppliers, arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget
Managing daily and weekly cleaning of the restaurant as required
Ensuring safety and security standards are recognised and upheld, and that kitchen and waiting staff are effectively trained in Workplace Health and Safety
Planning menus in consultation with Chefs and kitchen staff and organising special functions or promotional activities
maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service
may take reservations, greet guests and assist in taking orders
What you 'll bring
AQF Associate degree required, bachelor degree preferred
At least 2 years of previous restaurant management experience (chinese background restaurant preferred) Passionate about building a positive culture within the restaurant– focused on exceptional customer service, working together, helping those in need
