Following an internal promotion, a unique opportunity has arisen for a talented Senior Project Manager to join a leading global consultancy within their Major Projects division, based at their flagship offices in Sydney. This role sits within the Living Sector team and focuses on a variety of high-profile developments.

About the Role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the delivery of large-scale, complex projects, typically valued in excess of $100 million. You will be responsible for leading a team and projects from the early phases, including design management, Development Applications and State Significant Development Applications (SSDA), through to successful delivery.

This is a career-defining opportunity for an experienced project management professional to work on landmark projects that shape communities and deliver long-lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage major projects within the Living Sector.
  • Oversee projects from the early stages, including feasibility, design coordination and SSDA processes.
  • Manage and mentor a dedicated project team ensuring collaboration and high performance.
  • Provide strategic project management expertise across all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Engage with key stakeholders, including developers, consultants, and government authorities.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest standards.

About You

We are seeking candidates who can demonstrate:

  • A minimum of 6–7 years' experience in project management within a consultancy environment.
  • Proven track record in delivering large-scale projects (circa $100 million + in value) within NSW.
  • Strong understanding of design, planning, and approvals processes, including SSDA.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring a project team.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills.
