Hourly Rate: $33.00 – $37.54 (WT 4A.1 to 4.3)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Educator to join our team at Busy Bees at Amaroo, commencing 15 December 2025.

As a Lead Educator, you will play a key role in guiding children's learning and development while mentoring and supporting your fellow educators.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a room and creating engaging, age-appropriate learning programs

  • Supporting and mentoring educators in your team

  • Ensuring compliance with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF)

  • Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

  • Fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture

What You'll Need

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA recognised)

  • Previous experience as a Lead Educator or Room Leader

  • Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQF, and child development

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills

  • Current ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Registration

  • Current First Aid & CPR certification
