Commercial Manager FIFO Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Commercial Manager. This role requires experience on contract and commercial management as well as delay events, notices, and variations.

This is a FIFO (Fly in fly out) role.

This role requires the following essential skills:

  1. Review and draft responses to notices of delay, EOT claims, and potential disputes.
  2. Prepare and manage contractual correspondence and maintain audit-quality records.
  3. Interpret contract provisions and relevant legislation with minimal oversight.
  4. Provide commercial support to the Project Manager and internal teams.
  5. Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with contract terms.
  6. Assist with cost forecasting, contract variation assessments, and claims strategy
  7. Liaise with external consultants and legal representatives as needed
  8. Strong experience in drafting responses to notices of potential delay/EOT claims and formal correspondence
  9. Demonstrated ability to interpret contract provisions and legislation confidently, without legal assistance
  10. Proactive, autonomous working style – able to self-manage workload and engage without being prompted.
  11. Prior experience on Civil Infrastructure projects would be an advantage.
