Role Description

As a Lead React Native Engineer at OAHI, you'll design, develop, and maintain applications that are fast, reliable, and delightful to use. You'll work closely with designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver seamless cross-platform experiences that extend the OAHI platform to iOS and Android devices.  You'll embed Agentic AI tools into front-end applications, developing an innovative, multi-modal UX. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead design, and develop the front-end UX of our software solutions
  • Integrate with APIs and cloud services
  • Maintain high standards for code quality, testing and performance
  • Utilise modern tools and technologies to automate software development, testing and documentation
  • Stay current with emerging mobile technologies and frameworks

Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience developing apps using React Native
  • Strong understanding of React fundamentals, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL and mobile app architecture
  • Experience with .NET, SQL Server and Microsoft services would be great
  • Right to Work in Australia is required

Qualifications

  • Background in SaaS services and Payroll or Workforce Management technology or systems
  • Experience with secure authentication flows (OAuth2, SSO)
