We are seeking an experienced and driven JD Edwards Finance Business Analyst to join our IT project team. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact by working across the business-particularly with IT and Finance teams on a range of high-profile projects focused on process improvement, system enhancement, and business integration.


The Role:

As a JDE Finance Business Analyst, you will play a key role in driving business process improvements and system enhancements across the organisation. Working closely with both IT and Finance teams, you will lead the design, configuration, and implementation of JDE Finance modules, while also supporting the rollout of JDE to newly acquired businesses. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring system integrity, optimising financial workflows, and providing high-level support to resolve complex issues. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects across Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing, contributing to the company's growth and operational excellence.


Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Finance and IT teams to design and implement improvements to the JDE Finance model.
  • Lead the rollout of JDE to recent company acquisitions.
  • Provide Level 2 support for complex JDE Finance-related issues.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and guide for finance users in JDE best practices and processes.
  • Develop functional designs, test scripts, and end-user training materials, all documented within the company's change management tool
  • Model and document business processes (As-Is and To-Be) to support ongoing improvement initiatives.


About You:

  • A professional accounting qualification or significant experience supporting JDE Finance applications.
  • Minimum 5 years' hands-on experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, specifically version 9.2.
  • Deep functional knowledge and configuration experience with General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets.
  • Exposure to manufacturing environments, with an understanding of product costing and manufacturing accounting (highly desirable).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, especially in finance module support and period closure integrity issues.
  • Confident working across business functions including Sales, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience creating functional specifications, business process documentation, and training materials.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to lead change and improvement initiatives.
