Role and responsibilities:

  • Assists accountants with day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks
  • Work closely with the senior accountants to effectively complete client's work on a timely basis
  • Performing daily bookkeeping tasks , includes Account Payable, Account Receivable, Payroll, General Journals, Bank Reconciliation, etc
  • Assist in Preparation of tax returns and financial statements for individuals, partnership, companies, trusts and superannuation funds
  • Liaising with and building relationships with clients, the ATO and other bodies as relevant and required.
  • Prepare, examine, and analyse accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
  • Collecting and returning Client's paperwork

To be shortlisted you will have the following experience and characteristics but not limited to:

  • Commerce Degree with an Accounting Major
  • Proficient in MYOB and Xero, Microsoft Office products
  • Strong communication skills
  • High degree of accuracy, confidentiality and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and have a "can do" attitude
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, and to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, whilst being a team player
  • Organised and able to meet deadlines, and adaptable to a changing environment and problem solving
  • Proactive and Excellent computer skills
  • 2+ years' work experience in a similar role in Australia
  • Excellent written and spoken Business English is a pre-quisite
  • Well-presented and mannered. Trustworthy, Friendly and patience
  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • Lives in Perth, WA
