Your opportunity
We are seeking to appoint a highly experienced Construction Director to join the project team on this large significant infrastructure project based in Queensland.
Role
Reporting into the Project Director, this role will have responsibility of leading the construction team to deliver the project to programme and budget. This position will lead, direct and coordinate the operation of the project construction to achieve set objectives for safety, cost, programme, quality and environmental performance. With a proven track record in delivering large scale construction project (with a focus on heavy concrete civil), the right candidate will have:
- Successfully delivered a major heavy infrastructure projects valued at over $1B
- Significant experience in relevant construction management roles with prior experience working for major civil contractors
- High level of technical understanding and experience in technically complex engineering projects with a particular focus on heavy concrete structures (ie dams)
- Genuine commitment to safety and a proactive approach to safety processes and practices on site
- Relevant degree qualification in engineering desirable
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
This role is based in Brisbane and will be drive in, drive out to the project location when doing site works. An attractive relocation package (that includes removalist cost) will be made available to the successful applicant as well as site allowance once on a roster to site.
