TSPV - Lead ICT Security Specialist

12-month contract with 2 x 12-month extension options

Are you an experienced ICT Security professional with a deep technical background in vulnerability assessment, systems design, or security evaluation? A unique opportunity is available for a TSPV-cleared Lead ICT Security Specialist to join a high-impact program focused on national cyber capability. This role requires a strong understanding of ICT system security controls, threat modelling, and risk assessment, alongside proven technical skills in secure systems design, testing and evaluation.

Location: ACT – Onsite

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and document security controls for ICT systems.
  • Define, plan, and conduct product/system security assessments in line with ISM and PSPF standards.
  • Develop and review evaluation test plans, leveraging threat modelling techniques.
  • Provide expert advice on complex cyber security activities including software, hardware, and systems analysis.

Key Requirements:

  • Active TSPV clearance (MANDATORY) and Australian citizenship.
  • Proven experience designing and conducting system security testing (CIISEC Level 4).
  • Demonstrated capability in system design using modelling techniques and architectural standards (SFIA Level 4).
  • Technical depth in at least one of: Cybersecurity, Systems/Security Engineering, Hardware Reverse Engineering, or Software Testing.

Security Clearance: Due to the nature of this environment, candidates are required to have a TSPV clearance to perform this role.
