Continuing, full time position available
Working under limited direction, the Team Lead, Wellbeing & Safety is responsible for leading and coordinating the provision of HSW advice and services that assists the Faculty or Divisional Management to ensure the ongoing safety of staff, students and visitors, and to understand their compliance responsibilities with respect to relevant legislation and the University's HSW Handbook.
This is a fantastic and rewarding role in a friendly and supportive team, where you will lead, coordinate and provide HSW advice and services to assist faculty and divisional management in ensuring the ongoing safety of staff, students and visitors, and to understand their responsibilities with respect to relevant legislation.
To be successful you will need:
- Demonstrated high level of knowledge of work health and safety processes, relevant legislation, HSW management systems, and hazard management practices
- Demonstrated ability and experience in preparing persuasive and professional HSW related material and documentation of a high quality
- High level of communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, with demonstrated ability to partner with a broad range of people
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and deliver timely outcomes
