About the Role

We are looking for kind-hearted and empathetic home care employees in the Shoalhaven North area that will provide support to our IRT home care customers by ensuring they receive personalised care that is tailored to promote their well-being, empower independence and engagement in preferred activities that are aligned with their health, happiness and interests.

Being a Homecare employee is about helping and assisting customers to maintain their independence and quality of life while remaining in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes.

For this role, we are looking for:

  • Home Care Employee – Grade 4B - Located in the Shoalhaven North area.
  • Certificate III or IV in Ageing is needed with an accredited Medication Competency
  • Certificate & at least 500 hours experience in Home care and/or Aged care
  • Monday – Friday and some weekends. Hours vary between 7am - 5pm.

To Be Successful You Will Have

Full Driver's licence and a fully insured car ( If you have an international licence – we ask that you apply for an Australian licence within 3 months of working with IRT

    Relevant Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent
    An accredited Medication Competency Certificat- e
    At least 500 hours of professional Home Care/ Aged care experienc- e
    Current First Aid Certificate and CPR ( or willing to obtain- )
    Strong interpersonal and communication skills – A Second Language is a bonus-
    Resilience and ability to work independentl- y
    Available to work weekday- s
    A big heart, empathy and a passion for supporting older Australian- s
