Role Opportunity.
Exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Engineer - Civil to play a key role in delivering the inground services package at Perth Airport. This key position with a well-regarded consultancy offers the chance to contribute to a high-profile infrastructure project within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Extensive Project Engineering experience within civil contracting sector
  • Airport project experience advantageous but not essential
  • Strong background in earthworks, drainage, utilities, and service infrastructure
  • Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors and deliver complex civil works
  • Strong background in cost, schedule, and progress analytics, including Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Sound understanding of safety and quality management systems

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of the inground services package, ensuring compliance with design, budget, and program requirements
  • Manage subcontractor performance, procurement, and project documentation
  • Oversee cost control, scheduling, and progress measurement, applying strong analytical and project controls principles
  • Monitor and report on budget performance, forecast shifts, and project progress against key milestones
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues
  • Provide guidance to site and project teams to ensure quality, safety, and environmental standards are upheld
  • Drive process improvement, efficiency, and consistency across project delivery
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders
