Senior Project Engineer

Job description:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join the Woodman Point Team in Henderson In this role, you will be accountable for project deliverables working closely with stakeholders to ensure safety, time, cost and environmental objectives are achieved with fit for purpose engineering and design output complying with company requirements.

Clough, as part of an alliance, is delivering the engineering, procurement and construction for the Woodman Point Water Treatment Facility Upgrade, a significant sustainable infrastructure project for the Perth community, reducing waste and emissions.

Your focus will include:

• Work in accordance with Alliance's Values and demonstrate commitment, active involvement and leadership regarding zero harm, client, people and financial accountabilities
• Coordinate procurement for the designated work area
• Coordinate construction elements for the designated work area
• Managing the short- and long-term construction planning for works under control including submittals, start-up planning, programming, pre-commissioning and commissioning work
• Demonstrate a personal visible commitment to Alliance HSSE Policies, Group Zero Harm initiatives and strategies and HSSE management system requirements and expectations
• Actively liaising with subcontractors and suppliers
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements and all relevant Alliance policies and processes

What you will bring to the team:

• Mechanical Engineering degree from a recognized institution
• 10+ years of relevant engineering experience in the oil & gas, energy, water, mining, or heavy industrial sectors
• Chartered Engineer (CPEng) or working towards chartership (preferred)
• Eligible for membership with Engineers Australia
• Proven track record in project engineering and delivery across all project phases, design, procurement, fabrication, construction, and commissioning
• Experience in multi-discipline EPC, coordinate efficiently between design, vendors, and site teams
