Role Description

This is a contract role for a Fitter located on-site in Muswellbrook, NSW. The Fitter will be responsible for performing maintenance, repair, and installation tasks on various mechanical systems and equipment. Daily tasks include diagnosing issues, executing repairs, ensuring equipment efficiency, and adhering to safety standards and procedures. The role requires collaboration with other team members to ensure project accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

  • Experience in mechanical fitting, including maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical systems
  • Proficient in using modern tooling and equipment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Commitment to adhering to safety standards and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relevant certifications and qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or related fields
  • Previous experience in the energy and industry sectors is a plus
