The National Malleefowl Recovery Group Inc. (NMRG) is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the conservation and recovery of the Malleefowl and its habitat across Australia. We work in collaboration with government agencies, landholders, community groups, and researchers to protect this unique species through monitoring, advocacy, and education.

Role

To assist in Field Work and Project Management of the NMRG's Western Australian Operations.

Key Responsibilites

  • Conduct field works as required both Monitoring, Equipment installations and ground truthing.
  • Includes field work, data collection, community engagement, etc.
  • Supervise small teams in the field under the direction of the State and National Manager.
  • Conduct desktop reviews of ecological projects and processes.

Key Selection Criteria

·      Bachelor of Science or other relevant degree.

·      Ecological monitoring or field experience.

·      WHS awareness, general environmental knowledge.

·      Experience with Microsoft suite.

Conditions of Employment


• Part-time FTE)


• 3 month probation period.


• Working from home requirement.


• Reimbursement of travel and fuel costs.
