Seeking an experienced or new graduate Dental Therapist/Hygienist to join our dynamic team at The Happy Tooth in Cessnock, NSW. This full-time or part-time role is an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality dental care and contribute to the overall well-being of our patients. As a Dental Therapist/Hygienist, you will be responsible for conducting examinations, preventative treatments, fillings, stainless steel crowns and educating patients on optimal oral health practices.
You will have your own dedicated dental nurse.
Accommodation provided if required.
We have all the equipment including air flows, cbct, OPG etc etc
What you'll be doing
- Conducting dental examinations and assessments to identify oral health issues
- Performing preventative treatments such as scaling, polishing, and fluoride applications
- Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and providing advice on maintaining good dental health
- Collaborating with the dental team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
- Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Promoting a positive and welcoming environment for all patients
What we're looking for
- Registered Dental Therapist or Dental Hygienist
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients
- Strong clinical and technical skills, with a commitment to delivering high-quality dental care
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Passion for educating patients on preventative oral health practices
- Proficient in the use of dental equipment and software
