About the role

As a HC Driver, you will play a crucial role in our road transport operations, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of goods across the region. This Full-Time position offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing company committed to excellence in the manufacturing, transport and logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operating heavy combination vehicles to transport refrigerated goods
• Adhering to all traffic laws, safety regulations and company policies
• Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Monitoring vehicle performance and reporting any issues or maintenance needs
• Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining positive relationships with clients
• Maintaining accurate trip logs and documentation

To be successful in this role you'll have:

• Valid HC Licence
• Minimum 2 years' experience driving heavy combination vehicles
• Knowledge of load restraint and refrigeration unit operation
• Ability to operate a heavy vehicle in a professional & safe manner
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A willingness to learn and be trained on electronic equipment, such as tablets, for reporting and monitoring driving hours
• Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) – highly regarded but not essential
• Ability to pass a medical examination, including drug and alcohol testing
• A strong Think Safe attitude
