About the Role

Airswift is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Claims Paralegal to join our client's in-house Legal team on a parental leave cover contract. This role plays a key part in supporting the Claims & Disputes team with litigation-related matters, ensuring smooth coordination and timely delivery of legal processes.


Key Responsibilities
  • Liaising with external legal counsel and internal departments to facilitate document and information exchange
  • Managing discovery workstreams and maintaining litigation databases (e.g. Nuix Discover)
  • Coordinating with external consultants for data processing and review within litigation platforms
  • Organising and managing case files and internal systems (e.g. iManage), ensuring accuracy and accessibility
  • Reviewing and processing monthly invoices from legal and technology service providers
  • Supporting internal stakeholders and witnesses in preparing for interviews or meetings with external counsel
  • Assisting with general administrative and procedural tasks to ensure continuity during litigation

Skills & Experience Required
  • Previous paralegal experience, ideally in-house or within a litigation-focused environment
  • Solid understanding of legal processes, particularly document discovery and case management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, SharePoint, iManage, and Nuix Discover
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across teams
