We're looking for a passionate and reliable Cook/Chef to join our team at Leura Hotel, a busy country pub known for great food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere.

You'll be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality pub-style meals, maintaining food standards, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items to a consistent standard.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.
• Ensure proper food handling and hygiene practices at all times.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory control.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house team.
• Assist in developing daily specials and new menu ideas.
• Support and train junior kitchen staff when required.

• Previous experience as a Cook or Chef in a similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well under pressure.
• Team player with a positive attitude and good communication skills.
• Well presented and committed to maintaining high standards.
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays when required.
