About the Role

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a commercially astute CFO to join a dynamic executive team. This role is ideal for a hands-on, finance professional who thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments and is passionate about driving performance, governance, and sustainable growth. Although the role is advertised as full time, our client is open to part-time or consulting options.

Responsibilities

  • Lead financial strategy, planning, and performance.
  • Provide commercial insights to support M&A, capital raising, and strategic expansion.
  • Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.
  • Champion operational excellence in finance systems, cash flow, and risk management.
  • Build a high-performing finance function and foster cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

  • CA/CPA qualification with 10+ years' senior finance experience.
  • Proven leadership at CFO level.
  • Expertise in financial strategy, compliance, and operational finance.
  • Experience in capital raising and M&A (highly desirable).
  • Strong communication, business acumen, and stakeholder influence.
