Restaurant Supervisor

Location: La Capannina – Mediterranean Restaurant

Job Type: Casual or Full-time

La Capannina, a vibrant Mediterranean restaurant known for its warm hospitality and authentic cuisine, is looking for an experienced and passionate Restaurant Supervisor to join our leadership team.

Working closely with the Restaurant Manager, you'll play a key role in leading and mentoring our front-of-house team to deliver exceptional service and memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise day-to-day floor operations in a fast-paced restaurant setting
  • Train and mentor floor staff on menu knowledge, table service standards, and section waitering
  • Lead by example with hands-on service and exceptional guest interaction
  • Ensure smooth and efficient service aligned with company standards and KPIs
  • Work closely with management to support staff performance, customer satisfaction, and operational goals
  • Uphold a high level of cleanliness, presentation, and professionalism at all times

About You:

  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Supervisor or Senior Waiter in a fast-paced restaurant
  • Background in premium casual dining or Mediterranean cuisine highly regarded
  • Proven experience in training staff and managing sections on the floor
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills
  • A strong passion for hospitality and customer experience
  • Available to work a flexible 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
  • Valid RSA (or willing to obtain)
  • Hospitality qualifications are a plus, but not essential
