About the Business and the Role:

The Team at Advanced Traffic Management are on the lookout for skilled Traffic Controllers. We need Qualified Traffic Controllers that want to work as a Field Traffic Controller and also Team Leaders - with take home traffic control vehicles available for skilled operators. 

We have on offer regular work in locations all across Melbourne and the outer suburbs. Our clients are very busy and we have increased demand from our excellent client base.

We have preference for Traffic Controllers with a minimum of 6 months of experience however if you are newly qualified and want to be part of a company that will invest in your training and experience then we are that company.

If you are currently working in the industry and not getting enough hours or days of work and are wanting a change then we would love to hear from you.

Our work varies from within Melbourne and the outer suburbs area into regional Victoria. We have two depots - 1 located in Hallam and the other in Ravenhall. Our business also has traffic management divisions in South Australia and New South Wales so we are a large company with a strong and stable background working in this industry since 2011 .

Safety for our Personnel, our Teams, Road Users and our Clients is paramount so we seek switched on Traffic Controllers that have the same passion for safety as we do or new team members that are willing to learn from our experienced team and our internal training programs.

We have strict safety rules and as such all employees must adhere to our strict Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.

Mandatory Qualifications are:

  1. Current Traffic Management Qualifications
  2. Current OHS (White) Card

Preference will be given to Applicants that also hold First Aid Level 2 Qualification.

Additionally Traffic Controllers MUST Have:

  • Steel Capped - Lace Up Safety Boots
  • UHF 2 Way Radio - 5 Watt
  • Hard Hat with Sun Brim
  • Wet Weather PPE
  • Long Pants - Navy in colour with 2 x reflective strips
  • Orange and Blue shirt with reflective strips
  • Own Transport
  • Willingness to work a range of hours including weekends
