Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review Australian tax returns, special purpose financial statements, BAS and FBT returns.
  • Provide tax planning advice to clients to optimize their tax positions and ensure compliance.

Skills:

  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Australian public practice accounting.
  • Strong understanding of Australian accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop client relationships.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience reviewing and mentoring junior accounting staff.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software Xero.
