Searching for a Founding Technical Co-founder. Build APS with me (NSW based, remote-role, equity-led):

We're looking to build our engineering capabilities, and we need your help to find the best full stack developers in NSW. If you know someone who's got the skills and willing to take a leap of faith on one of the most ambitious companies in Australia, then please see below.

We're building APS - a social, search, and comparison platform for Australia's property market. Think homes + community + marketplace in one platform. We have the executive firepower, product design, expert advisory board and business vision. Now we're looking for our Technical Co-founder to lead the entire stack, ship our beta, and deliver our Mark I across iOS, Android, and Web.

You will:

  • Own architecture, code, delivery, security, and reliability from day one.

  • Ship a fast, elegant feed + profiles + notifications experience.

  • Build growth loops (invites, deep links, lifecycle messaging) and instrument analytics to learn fast.

  • Stand up a clean data platform for search/discovery and future growth recommendations.

  • Hire and lead a high performing engineering team once we hit traction.

You are

  • A hands-on full-stack engineer who has shipped consumer apps with feeds and real users.

  • Confident with TypeScript across Web/Mobile/Backend , React Native/Expo, Node/Nest).

  • Security-first (OAIC APPs aware), pragmatic about scraping (APIs first, lawful crawling & aggregating if necessary). Clean data handling, consented analytics.

  • A clear communicator who can translate tech into crisp decisions for non-technical leaders.

  • Based in NSW and comfortable working remote-first.

Must-haves

  • Thrive on owning outcomes. Excellent async communication.

  • Proven growth mindset; instrumentation, A/B tests, lifecycle comms.

  • 5+ yrs shipping production software; 2+ yrs in consumer social or marketplace. (Unless you can show us that you are a special outlier…)

  • React/React Native + Node (TypeScript) fluency, Postgres/Redis, real-time sockets, cloud (AWS).
