About the Role...
We're seeking a motivated Senior Speech Pathologist to join our growing Penrith team.
This role offers a unique opportunity to lead service development, mentor junior clinicians, and deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapy to clients with a range of communication and swallowing needs. Whether you're looking for full-time or part-time, we'll work with you to create the perfect role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide comprehensive speech pathology services to clients with diverse needs
- Lead and mentor junior clinicians to foster professional development
- Support the growth of our speech therapy service
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic client outcomes
- Develop individualized therapy plans and conduct functional assessments
- Maintain high-quality clinical documentation and contribute to service improvements
About you...
- SPA-registered Speech Pathologist with a minimum of 5 years' experience
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with adults and/or paediatrics in a disability or rehabilitation setting
- Experience with assessment and prescription of speech generating devices (highly desirable)
- Passion for evidence-based, client-centered care
- Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and support junior clinicians
- A proactive and innovative mindset – ready for what's next
- Valid driver's license (for community visits)
