We are currently recruiting an experienced Senior Project Manager based in Perth for our client who are an established organisation in the Power Transmission & Distribution industry.

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing project delivery for one of Western Australia's largest transmission infrastructure projects. It will be managing multiple disciplines, ensuring outcomes are achieved safely, efficiently, and to the highest technical standards. The successful candidate will have proven capability in managing large, complex power or infrastructure projects and a strong ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and deliverables through all project phases.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of assigned project scopes within cost, schedule, and quality targets.
  • Manage multidisciplinary teams including engineering, design, commercial, and project controls resources.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, risk registers, and progress reporting in alignment with organisational frameworks.
  • Oversee interface management between internal stakeholders, clients, contractors, and external partners.
  • Drive project governance, ensuring adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing proactive management and resolution strategies.
  • Provide leadership to ensure technical excellence, clear communication, and delivery focus across the project team.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives across the broader transmission program.

Required Experience:

  • Proven track record delivering large-scale infrastructure or energy projects, ideally within transmission, energy or related sectors.
  • Experience managing complex multi-disciplinary project teams.
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle management including design development, procurement, and delivery oversight.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead high-value projects from concept through to completion, meeting technical and commercial objectives.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships across government, client, and contractor interfaces.
  • Sound commercial acumen and experience managing budgets, contracts, and project reporting.
  • Ability to influence outcomes, resolve conflicts, and drive performance in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
